These terms cover your use of freightbenchmarks.com, operated by Centreville Tech LLC (“we”).

The data

The benchmarks are aggregated from real invoices and published for general information. They describe past shipments in one forwarder’s data, not a price or a promise for your shipment, and they are not legal, customs or financial advice. We work to keep them accurate, but we provide them as is, without warranties of any kind.

You may reuse the data under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license if you credit “Freight Benchmarks (freightbenchmarks.com)”. The site’s text and design are not covered by that license.

Quotes

Freight Benchmarks is not a freight forwarder, NVOCC, carrier or customs broker, and does not arrange transportation. When you request a quote we pass it to a licensed US freight forwarder, which quotes and contracts with you directly under its own terms. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for its services.

Using the site

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, overload it, or submit false or automated requests. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or the data, and our total liability is limited to $100.
